Materials Needed: construction paper, scissors, 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of water, 2 teaspoons salt, stapler

1 Clap your hands, all you nations;
shout to God with cries of joy. 2 For the LORD Most High is awesome,
the great King over all the earth.
Talking Points: Jesus is many, many things. We have learned that Jesus is a teacher and teaches us about God and how God wants us to live. Jesus is a priest and He prays for us and leads us to God. Today we learn that Jesus is a King. A King is someone who rules people and makes rules and laws for people. They help keep peace among people. Jesus is the King of the whole world!
Questions: Do you know what a king is? How do you think a king should be treated?
Activity: Before the activity, combine 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of water, 2 teaspoons salt. Mix until you have a thick paste. Add food coloring. Cut out the shape of crown. Let the child paint the crown. Staple it together and put it on the child’s head.
