Talking Points: God is so, so big that even the mountains seem small compared to Him. When He made countries and places for people to live, it was like something tiny that He weighed on a scale. A scale tells you if something is heavy or light. Compared to God, everything else seems small, like dust or drop of water.
Questions: Do you know what a scale is for? What do you do with a scale? Can you think of something that is heavy? Can you think of something that is light?
Activity:
Let the child weight themselves on the scale. Let them have fun weighing books, toys, or other objects around the house. Ask them whether they think the object is light or heavy as they weigh it.
Prayer: Dear God, you are so big that everything else seems small in comparison to You. Help us to never forget how awesome and amazing You truly are. Amen
