Lesson Learned: God teaches us how to live.
Materials Needed: stuffed animals, white board or chalkboard, markers or chalk
Bible Verse:
Psalm 32:8
8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
Talking Points: Do you know why God gave us the Bible? He gave us the Bible to teach us about God, to teach us about His Son, Jesus, and to teach us the commandments to live our lives. He is the best teacher we will ever have–He wants only the best for us.
Questions: Do you have some people that teach you? What about your Mom, Dad, Sunday School teacher, or preschool teacher? What about God? How does He teach you? Do you think He’s a good teacher?
Activity: Play school with the child, letting the child set up the stuffed animals around the whiteboard and then draw on the chalkboard/whiteboard like a teacher.
Prayer: Almighty Father and Teacher, You show us how to live and You give us the rules to live by.
