Lesson Learned:  Praise the Lord morning and night.

Materials Needed:  clean glass jar, paint, paint brush, tape

Bible Verse:
Psalm 113:1-3
1 Praise the LORD.
   Praise the LORD, you his servants;
   praise the name of the LORD.
2 Let the name of the LORD be praised,
   both now and forevermore.
3 From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets,
   the name of the LORD is to be praised.

Talking Points:
God gives us so much to be thankful for.  He protects us and He takes care of us.   We should sing to Him today, tomorrow, and every day! We should praise Him first thing in the morning, just before bed, and always.

Questions:  When do you pray to God?  Do you praise HIm when you wake up in the morning, before meals, or before bedtime?  When is another time you could/should pray and praise God?

Activity:
Step 1:  Use the tape to make the outline of a sun and moon on the glass jar.
Step 2: Let the child paint the jar.
Step 3: Remove the tape to see the moon and sun.

Macey wanted her name instead of the moon and sun. Oh well!

Prayer:  Lord, we will praise You day and night, all the days of our lives. You are Amazing! Amen!
