20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
Talking Points: God wants us to invite Him into our homes and our lives. When someone comes over, they knock on the door and we open it to let them come in. In the same way, when God comes to us, we must let him into our lives. Letting God into our lives means reading the Bible, listening and reading His word, and praying to Him.
Questions: Why do people knock on doors or ring the doorbell when they get to someone’s house? What is one way you can let God into your life today?
Activity: Stand on opposite sides of the door from your child. Take turns knocking and opening and closing the door.
