Lesson Learned: God can be seen everywhere.
Materials Needed: child’s favorite food
Bible Verse:
Psalm 34:8
8 Taste and see that the LORD is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
Talking Points: God’s goodness can be found everywhere; when you see a beautiful sunset that is evidence of God; when you hear a wonderful song, that is evidence of God; when taste your favorite food, that is evidence of God. God made all things and His righteousness and glory is evident in everything around us.
Questions: When you see something beautiful, does it make you think of God? What reminds of you God?
Activity: Let the child taste his/her favorite food. Remind that child that God is better than anything they could ever eat and more worthy of our praise than anything else around.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for making all things and showing Yourself to us in all of Your creation. Amen!
