Materials Needed: construction paper, crayons, markers, wooden blocks

26 He said, “If you listen carefully to the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you.”

Talking Points: God has the power to heal people when they are sick. He also tells us that we must obey His commands and listen to his words because they are best medicine around.
Questions: Do you know anyone who is sick or has recently hurt themselves? Can you say a pray for them to ask God to heal them?
Activity: Have the child make a get well card for the person they prayed for. You can use the wooden blocks to outline the letters. To do so, place a piece of paper over the letter and then color over it with a crayon or colored pencil.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for hearing our prayers and healing us when we are sick. Please heal (insert name of person sick or hurting). We love you. Amen!
