Growing up, I remember memorizing the Lord’s Prayer with my mom before bedtime. Honestly, this set of verses were the only Bible verses I had memorized as a child! Scripture memorization was not high on the list of my parents’ priorities.
I assumed all children knew the Lord’s Prayer when I started teaching elementary aged Sunday School kids. But I was wrong! It was new to many of my students. So I knew we needed to have a lesson on it.
Here is the first in a series of Sunday School lessons on the Lord’s Prayer. The first lesson will help the students discover where the Lord’s Prayer is found in the Bible and why Jesus told it to His disciples.
Students will also examine other Bible verses to see when else Jesus prayed and why. In the process, they will discover why praying is so important!
This print and go Sunday School lesson will help you teach your class all about the Lord’s Prayer.

This print and go Bible Lesson will make it easy to teach The Our Father Prayer to elementary aged students.
