Lesson Learned: God performs many great wonders; we should remember them.

Materials Needed:  paper, crayons

Bible Verse:
Psalm 111:1-7
1 Praise the LORD.
   I will extol the LORD with all my heart
   in the council of the upright and in the assembly.
 2 Great are the works of the LORD;
   they are pondered by all who delight in them.
3 Glorious and majestic are his deeds,
   and his righteousness endures forever.
4 He has caused his wonders to be remembered;
   the LORD is gracious and compassionate.
5 He provides food for those who fear him;
   he remembers his covenant forever.
 6 He has shown his people the power of his works,
   giving them the lands of other nations.
7 The works of his hands are faithful and just;
   all his precepts are trustworthy.

 Talking Points:  God has done many, many wonderful things throughout all of time.  He wants us to remember these good things so that we can share them with others.


Questions:  Can you name some of the good things God has done for you? Why is it important to remember these things?

Activity:  Have the child draw some of their blessings on a piece of paper.  Help them to remember some of the many good things God has done for them throughout the day and thank God for them each time you do.

Prayer:  Dear Lord, You are so good to us. Help us to remember Your many great wonders and blessings in our lives. Amen!
