Love is a Gift from God
Today’s lesson focuses on how much God loves us.
Love is a gift from God. We should treat the people in our lives that we love with patience and kindness.
- white, red, pink and other colored pieces of paper
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
God loves us. When we love someone, we forgive them when they hurt us and we do things for them that show them that we care. We are kind to those we love and treat them with respect.
Who are some people in your life that you love? How should you treat those that you love?
Draw a large heart on a piece of paper. Rip up small strips of colored paper and have the child glue them on the heart.
