Now choose life, so that you and your children may live 20 and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
Talking Points
God tells us to listen to Him. Just like when your mom and dad tell you to listen to them and obey them, God wants you to listen to Him and do what He says.

Activity
Have the child lay down on the ground on the blanket and pillow and close their eyes. Tell them to listen to the sounds around them. Ask them what they can hear.

Dear Lord, thank you for giving us ears to hear things! Help us to listen and obey your teachings all of our lives. Amen!
