We are commanded by God to teach our children the ways of the Lord.
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6
God’s words are powerful. His message is life giving. Even the youngest child can be taught that God is the maker of all things and that He loves them. As your kids grow, you can share the awesome stories of God’s miracles like Jesus Feeding the 5,000 and Jesus Walking on Water.
My word that goes out from my mouth. It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11

God’s Love Endures Forever
Today’s lesson focuses on God’s great love.
God’s love will never end.
stickers, construction paper, crayons, contact paper
1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
2 Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
God loves us. He made us and He protects us. He will love us forever and ever. It will never stop.
Why does God love us? How long will his love last? How long is forever? What’s the longest you have ever done something?
Take a large, rectangular piece of construction paper and have the child decorate it. Cover it with contact paper and use it as a placemat. The child could make 3 or 4 of these over the next few days for a full set of placemats.
God, your love endures forever. We are so thankful that you made us and that you love us forever. Teach us to love more like you do. Amen!
