20 Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. 21 She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.”
22 Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment.
Talking Points: Jesus heals those who are sick. He heals not only or bodies but our hearts.
Questions: Have you ever been sick before? How did you feel? Did you pray that God will heal you?
Activity:
Play doctor with the child. You may want to listen to each other’s hearts if you have a toy stethoscope or you can let the child put a band-aid on a doll or stuff animal.
Prayer: Almighty God, you are the ultimate healer. Thank you for watching over us when we are sick and healing our minds and bodies. Amen!
