Lesson Learned:  God never forgets us.
Materials Needed: pictures from a magazine or book
Bible Verse:

Isaiah 49:15-16
 15 “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast
   and have no compassion on the child she has borne?
Though she may forget,
   I will not forget you!
16 See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
   your walls are ever before me.

Psalm 106:44-45
44 Yet he took note of their distress
   when he heard their cry;
45 for their sake he remembered his covenant
   and out of his great love he relented.
Talking Points:  God will never forget you.  He made you and He loves you.  He promised to look after His people forever, and He will.

Questions:  Does God forget anything?  Will he ever forget about you?  What can you do everyday to remember God? (Read His word and pray to Him!)

Activity:
Lay the pictures before the child and have them look at them.  Then, take the picture away and ask the child questions about the picture. For example, do you remember what color hair the lady had? Do you remember what they were doing in the picture?

Prayer:  Dear Lord, we are so glad that you will never forget us.  You are an awesome God and we thank you for always holding us in the palm of your hand. Amen.
