1Then I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, there was a man with a measuring line in his hand. 2So I said, “Where are you going?” And he said to me, “To )measure Jerusalem, to see how wide it is and how long it is.”
Talking Points: God has a chosen city called Jerusalem. It is His Holy City and He knows exactly how big it is.
Questions: What is God’s chosen city called? What is the name of the city you live in? Do you think God knows how big your city is?
Activity:
Give the child a yard stick or a ruler. Help them measure the length of a wall or table.
Prayer: Dear Lord, You are all knowing and have measured out all cities, including Jerusalem. Thank you for giving us things to measure with. Amen.
