Lesson Learned: We will go to Heaven if our name is in God’s Book of Life.
Materials Needed: several sheets of computer paper, stapler, stickers, marker

5 The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels.
Revelation 20:12
12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.
Talking Points: God has a book that has everyone’s name in it that will go to Heaven. This book is called the “Book of Life.” If we believe in Jesus and live our life for Him, our name will be written in the Book of Life.
Questions: What is your name? What letter does your name start with (for older kids, ask them how to spell or write their name)? Do you have a middle name? What is it?
Activity:
Take 2 or 3 pieces of computer paper and fold them in half. Staple them in the center to make a “book”. Write the child’s name in the book with the marker, telling them what the letters are as you do it. You could do this with your name or the name of other people you know as well. Then, let the child decorate the book with stickers.
Prayer: Dear Lord, we pray that our names be found in the Book of Life. We want to follow Jesus and we want to be filled with Your Spirit. Amen!
